Steep Cross Country Challenge for Years 5 and 6
It’s been another exciting week of sport at Stokesay! Our Year 5 and 6 pupils travelled to the beautiful — and very hilly — Church Stretton to take part in the annual cross country event, joining over 300 children from across Shropshire.
It was a fantastic afternoon, filled with determination and teamwork. Every pupil put in an outstanding effort, tackling the challenging course with resilience and a positive attitude. We are incredibly proud of how they represented our school values — and even prouder to say that every Stokesay runner crossed the finish line. What an achievement!
A special congratulations goes to Bentley, who came first in the Year 6 boys' race — an outstanding performance!
