This summer term has started with lots of exciting and memorable learning experiences. We began with our World War 2 topic day, where the children came dressed in costume and fully immersed themselves in activities linked to life during the war. They explored what it was like to be an evacuee, took part in practical activities and even experienced practising with the air raid siren, helping to bring their history learning to life.
In Art, the children explored architecture and the unique work of Friedensreich Hundertwasser. They studied his colourful and imaginative style before designing their own creative buildings inspired by his work.
During Outdoor Learning, the children have been developing their bushcraft skills and learning how to safely build and manage fires. They have shown excellent teamwork, resilience and responsibility while enjoying hands-on learning outdoors.
