To kick off their new topic of plants in Year 2, they planted tomato seeds that they are going to watch grow.
The children all planted two plants each to make sure at least one of them germinates.
When the plants get too big for their current pots they will be replotted and sent back to the children's homes so that they can grow to their heart's content.
The children had a fantastic topic day in Year 2 to celebrate the new topic of Monarchs.
The children were definitely dressed to impress in their royal outfits! To spark an interest in the topic the children have had a coronation for all of our Kings and Queens and loved finding out all about William the Conqueror! The children have also drawn and painted their own magnificent castles which will look amazing on the class display.
