Our Year 2 children have had an exciting first few days settling into their new classroom and getting to know their new teacher, Mrs Anthony. They’ve loved the start of their learning journey this year — especially creating colourful bubble writing of their own names to proudly display in class! The room is already bursting with colour, creativity and enthusiasm as they begin what’s sure to be a fantastic year of learning and fun.
The children showed great determination at Carding Mill Valley during their cross country run. It was a tough course but everyone powered through and completed the run. It was lovely to see everyone cheering on their classmates to the finish line.
To support our history topic of "How did we learn to fly?" Year 2 visited RAF Cosford. Children sat in a cockpit, tried on RAF uniforms and explored the museum.
