This term, the topic Reception have been learning about is 'food'. We began this topic with a topic day and making our own fruit salads! The children also enjoyed making their own pizzas, decorating biscuits and making cornflake cakes throughout the term too. We finished the topic with a whole-school international day where the children bought in their favourite foods to share, with lots of homemade treats to try from lots of different nationalities.

Reception and Nursery have enjoyed weekly bike ability sessions with Kate this term. They have learnt how to control their bikes, pick them up correctly and various other skills such as weaving in and out of cones and lifting one leg whilst riding the balance bikes. Well done everyone!

Reception and Nursery enjoyed a trip to the Small Breeds Farm to round off their topic which was 'Spring'. They saw lots of animals which they were allowed to pet, go into their pens and feed them which the children loved! The children were all so well behaved and were also lucky enough to have the staff bring their guinea pigs, goats and the tortoise into the barn for the children to see more closely.
