Welcome to Stokesay Primary School

Spring 25.

This half term the children in Nursery have been learning about food! The children took part in weekly cooking sessions where they made pizzas, fruit salad, cornflake cakes and decorated biscuits. On the last week of Spring 1, we held our first International Day where children bought in treats to try from different nationalities. Our topic next half term is Spring and the Weather!

To celebrate a range of cultures Stokesay Primary held an International Day. The children came dressed in their culture's colours and traditional dress. We spent the day exploring cultures from around the world and took part in a variety of activities. Children also got the chance to try international foods.

Small Breed Farm Trip!

As part of our topic Spring the children in Nursery and Reception went to the Small Breed Farm for the day. Children got to explore the farm and got to pet and feed the animals. Children then got to each lunch in the barn before the farm staff brought in some of the animals for the children to take a closer look at. The children were all very well behaved and really enjoyed the day!
