Stepping Out for Hope House
Children and staff laced up their wellies and walking shoes to raise over £300 for Hope House through a sponsored walk at the Discovery Centre.
We are delighted to share that our school community has raised over £300 for Hope House Children's Hospices through a sponsored walk around the Discovery Centre.
Despite the autumn weather, our children arrived ready for the challenge, with wellies, waterproofs and plenty of enthusiasm. Throughout the walk, pupils demonstrated determination, teamwork and a fantastic sense of community as they completed the route together.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for children to support an important cause while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Discovery Centre. Their positive attitudes and energy made the day a great success, and we were incredibly proud of the way they represented our school.
A huge thank you goes to all the parents, families and friends who kindly sponsored the children and donated to this worthy cause. Your generosity has helped us raise an amazing amount for Hope House, which provides vital care and support for children with life-threatening conditions and their families.
We would also like to thank all of our pupils for their enthusiasm and effort. From arriving with their wellies at the ready to completing the walk with smiles on their faces, they truly embodied our school values throughout the event. Well done, everyone!
